CURRENT POSITION

Environmentalist specialising in Geographic Information Systems and Geoinformatics for biodiversity and natural resource management. Graduated in Environmental Sciences in 2022 from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). Since the second year of my degree I have collaborated in different malacological projects with the Department of Zoology of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the UPV. In these projects, I used geoinformation tools to model and delimit the habitat of molluscs included in the Habitats Directive such as Elona quimperiana and Geomalacus maculosus. In addition, I have carried out molecular genetic work on continental gastropods and bivalves. In September 2022 I started studying the Master’s Degree in Geoinformatics for Natural Resources Management at the University of León with the aim of specialising my training in GIS applied to the environment, and in particular, to the management and conservation of fauna and flora. I am currently working for TRAGSATEC, in the coordination group of PRTR-ESMOLINCO (Improvement of the knowledge of the conservation status of molluscs and coastal invertebrates in Spain): data analysis, report writing, cartography generation, geographic and field studies.
